History of Incidents

Since the start of the full-scale conflict in Ukraine, a number of Russian military officials have been subjected to assaults within Moscow.

This most recent event echoes other serious incidents, such as:

  • General Yaroslav Moskalik was died in a car bomb attack in Moscow earlier this year.
  • General Igor Kirillov perished in late 2024 when a device placed on a scooter was triggered from afar.

While a source from Ukraine previously attributed Kirillov's death to Ukraine's security service, such allegations are never publicly admitted as a matter of official stance.

The war has been marked by shadowy operations reaching into the streets of the Russian capital.

The examination into General Sarvarov's death is still underway.
