I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
